Julinka Doenhoff is a multimedia artist based in Mallorca, Spain. Born in Hamburg, she spent her formative years between Kenya and Germany. She later pursued her academic interests abroad, earning a degree in Art History from Smith College in the United States and an MPhil in European Literature from Oxford University.

Though she never attended art school, Julinka has maintained a lifelong passion for painting and photography. Following university, she moved to London, where she worked as a TV researcher and producer for the BBC, Channel 4, and Bloomberg TV. During this time, she began painting in her free time and was given the opportunity to paint the portraits of notable people such as Archbishop Tutu and Nelson Mandela.

In recent years Julinka became a full time artist and moved away from figurative painting to explore new artistic avenues. In May 2025, she held her first solo exhibition, Forever Now, at Ackerman’s Art Residence in Palma. The show featured a contemplative series of photographs showing magical light reflections on stone walls and water shadows.
